Abstract
Skeletal muscle is a highly adaptable tissue and remodels in response to exercise training. We are interested in the molecular mechanisms regulating skeletal muscle metabolism, and in particular insulin sensitivity.
This talk will focus on exercise-directed changes in muscle insulin sensitivity, and explore the role of a number of key miRNAs in this context.
