Scientific symposium in homage to August Krogh
The symposium is held in celebration of 100 years since the publication of "7 little devils" by August Krogh and 90 years since the award to August Krogh of the Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology.
The symposium will include sessions dealing with 3 of August Krogh's core fields:
- Comparative Physiology / Membrane Transport
- Capillary Physiology
- Insulin / insulin action
August Krogh 1874 - 1949 Professor of Zoophysiology University of Copenhagen 1916-1945. Won the Nobel Prize in physiology and medicine in 1920.
