AKC Symposium: Models and methods in metabolic research
August Krogh Club Symposium 2016
In 2016 the 3rd August Krogh Club Symposium will be entitled “Models and methods in metabolic research”, hosting internationally renowned speakers that will present and discuss cutting edge models and methodologies relevant to metabolic investigation in context of their own research disciplines. This will provide participants with a broad interdisciplinary understanding of benefits and limitations of models ranging from cell and isolated tissues to intact animals or humans when studying metabolic regulation.
Our aim is to provide researchers with the foundation and inspiration for out-of-the-box thinking prior to designing and executing metabolic studies, which in our view is critical for adapting novel and innovative research strategies.
