Crossroads in Metabolism: Tales from Talents & Trailblazers

August Krogh is regarded as one of the most influential scientists of the 20th century. But perhaps most importantly, he established Denmark as a world leader in physiology and metabolism research, a tradition that is still active and thriving today.

Accordingly, the August Krogh Club is an initiative run by the University of Copenhagen to celebrate the rich and impactful history of physiology and metabolism research in Denmark and aims to disseminate current cutting-edge research in these fields on an international scale.

The general theme of this symposium is to combine presentations from well-established researchers in physiology and metabolism with presentations from their junior rising stars.
