About the name

August Krogh

The Noble Prize winner prof. August Krogh is worldwide recognized for his comparative studies of physiological phenomena in animals and humans. The August Krogh club brings together specialists within various sub-areas of physiology to facilitate knowledge sharing and thus aiming to develop inspiration and synergies.

Many Physiologist at Science from Bio, NEXS and SNM have been part of or have had a tight relationship to the former August Krogh Institute. By re-introducing the affiliation to a platform named August Krogh Club, we envision a head start in the international recognition/identification of research within metabolism.
